Mahmoud Nader is the Chief Executive Officer of TAQANA Energy Solutions, a strategic joint venture between Schneider Electric and the Arab Development Establishment, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. An industrial engineer by graduation, he brings extensive global engineering, operational, and executive leadership experience across Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, India, and Europe, with a focus on energy management, industrial automation, and technology- driven transformation.
His career spans technology transfer, market localization, business development, and industrial transformation, with a particular focus on building ventures through strategic partnerships, global technology transfer, and mergers and acquisitions. He has worked across international markets to translate global technologies and capabilities into localized industrial solutions and scalable business platforms.
In Abu Dhabi, Mahmoud leads TAQANA’s efforts to localize Schneider Electric’s advanced digital and sustainable energy solutions, combining energy management, real-time automation, digital technologies, and smart manufacturing to build more efficient, resilient, and sustainable industrial systems. His work supports the UAE’s Make it in the Emirates initiative and its broader industrial development ambitions.
Combining strategic vision with hands-on execution, Mahmoud focuses on turning technology and partnerships into practical industrial outcomes. He is an alumnus of Oxford, where he specialized in M&A strategy, and Harvard Business School, where he focused on scaling technology ventures.
